Four Play Dragster

Green Motorsports is a full service shop for our race cars. We do all of our own motor work, including rebuilds, alcohol conversion, fuel mapping, and updates. We also do our own chassis work and maintenance.

We refer to the rear engine dragster as "The Little Dragster". Not quite a big as most full size dragsters and currently running a Gaerte-Rodeck 4 cylinder engine that is commonly used in midget race cars. Which is where Randy came up with the name "Four Play".  The motor is actully one half of a small block Chevrolet.
It also has a 2 speed powerglide transmission. The chassis was built by Seale and Andersen. The car was built to run in the Comp Eliminator NHRA division.
We purchased the dragster in December of 2007 and began testing and tuning in early 2008.
We had a few problems in the beginnig with the tranmission and during the summer replaced some damaged pistons. Cory also built a radiator for the car to help with the cooling.
Randy finished his qualifications and received his NHRA license in late summer and ran his first race at Sacramento Raceway in the fall of 2008.
Over the winter in 2008 they rebuilt the motor adding new sleeves, valve springs, and head gaskets.
